TN rejection at Detroit Windsor Tunnel
I am currently working in California on a TN visa under the CSA category. My current TN was approved previously with the same Electronics and Communication Engineering degree, and I have been working successfully in systems analysis roles for many years.
Today, I went to the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel port of entry to apply for a new TN under the CSA category for a job change/new employer. However, the officer rejected the application, stating that my degree is in Electronics and Communication Engineering and does not qualify for the CSA category.
I have 20 years of experience in systems analysis, and both my current job and new job are with major tech companies. Both the previous approved TN petition and today’s new TN petition were prepared by immigration lawyers.
What options do I have now
Edited to Add - They didn’t give me any letter mentioning reason of rejection. Officer just said apply with USiCS at end.. does it mean this rejection is not in records . My current TN admit date is shown as last year only in i94
