I want to know how many devs have apps which have revenue and how much did you make. Do you able to support your self or are you doing it as a hobbie and getting pocket money out of it?
i personally launched my (first) app last year, worked on it for 6+ months. But finally with intense marketing on reddit, i was able to got a few (2) customers. It was overwhelmingly interesting for me, as it was my first learning project, turned out to make almost a 100 bucks lol.
But 3 months ago, i discontinued as both of my first subscriber, who was on pro (paying me 29 bucks/m for 3 months) canceled. I couldn't afford running it with one left (who did pay only 4 bucks/m). I discontinued it for good, cause the app was bloated too. It was architectural nightmare to continue working on it, and fixing something needs a huge mental tax. So i rather continue learning more to have better skills to build better projects.
So far i have started 3 new projects, but i have a leap of faith on one of them, maybe it'd be ready in a few weeks/months.
I stopped having launch fast mindset after building todo apps, so i am focusing on a single thing at a time. Maybe who knows lol.
I'd love to hear from you too.
Have a blessed day!
