Messy recovery black helium walley
Hello Helium Support,
I am experiencing a serious wallet recovery/signing issue with the black Helium wallet originally corrctlg imported during the transition from the legacy blue Helium Hotspot app.
Situation summary:
- I still have active access to the wallet on my iPhone.
- The wallet correctly displays:
- my hotspots,
- HNT balance,
- SOL balance (~1 SOL),
- and hotspot rewards.
- However, I cannot perform sensitive actions such as:
- claiming rewards,
- transferring assets,
- or transferring hotspots.
Main errors:
During reward claims:
“Jito bundle submission failed: HTTP error! status: 400”During transfers/signing:
The app asks me to restore/verify the wallet using the recovery phrase, but when I enter my 12-word phrase, I receive:
“Error Restoring Wallet — The words you entered do not match the wallet you are restoring.”
Important details:
- The 12-word phrase was originally copied directly from the legacy blue Helium wallet app.
- The same phrase is also rejected by Phantom Wallet and the current Helium Wallet app.
- The wallet is still locally accessible on the device, but signing operations fail because phrase verification fails.
- I have already confirmed I have enough SOL for transaction fees (~1 SOL in wallet).
- This appears to be a mismatch between the locally cached wallet/session and the expected recovery phrase after the Helium migration to Solana.
I would appreciate guidance on:
- whether this is a known migration-related issue,
- whether there is a method to recover/export the active private key from the still-authenticated device,
- or how to regain signing functionality without losing wallet access.
Thank you.
