Should I try LBA or just move to surgery
I’m a 35 female with two small kids, I’ve had chronic low back pain with sciatica for 15 years. It’s worsening in severity. PT has worked once for about a year, I have tried dozens of times.
Recent MRI findings - L5/S1 mild retrolisthesis with moderate to severe degenerative disk changes and mild left greater than right foraminal stenosis. 2. L1/L2 mild to moderate degenerative disk disease with Modic type I endplate changes. 3. L3/L4 degenerative disk disease with disk annular fissure.
Does anyone have experience with the Low Back Ability program? I would rather not have surgery but I also don’t want to waste more of my life in severe pain. Ortho recommends disc replacement surgery but I am also seeking a second opinion.
