So basically I have quarterly payments to make totalling 250k - 300k annually (I’m not on W2). That’s a great stash of Amex points (I use them 100% for Delta air miles). However, paying taxes by card comes with fees, which depending on the year will be 6,000 - 7,000 annually.

So, here’s the question. Are 250k Amex points worth $6,000?
