Steam controller how to make trackpad good for shooters?
I have been really excited to use the track pad for shooters so I could finally play a shooter like DOOM on a controller and not be nerfed by using a stick. The trackpad is accurate, but I am having trouble aiming the same way I can on a mouse.
I notice it is a lot easier to do micro movements on the mouse vs. the trackpad.
I tried gyro a bit but I was kind of concerned that if it's always on it will add constant wobble to my aim.
Some games the problem is the track pad feels too small, like in order to be accurate the sensitivity has to be low enough that i can only turn 30 degrees with a full swipe of the trackpad.
Any advice on the Steam controller configuration for high speed shoot? I am hoping there are just some tweaks/combo of settings I need to enable, thanks!
