Running 4/0 SER Is Brutal
My grandma is building a new house and of course I'm wiring it.
I've done a year and some change of commercial and 5 years of large scale ground mount solar so I've pulled and terminated some big wire. None of it was as hard as trying to bend 4/0 SER. I was running it through 2-1/2" holes and I had another guy with me and it was almost impossible to get it to sweep through the first turn. Even when terming the individual wires they were fighting me way harder than any 4/0 has before.
Is this a known thing that SER is terrible to work with or is there some technique I dont know about? It was Southwire brand cable if that matters. Any advice for future SER pulls would be greatly appreciated.
