I work for my now former company for 5 years. Just over a year ago I went off on an approved medical leave. During this time i relocated 4 hours away to move in with family. So when I was ready to return back to work I quit the job instead of moving back and returning. I am now looking for a job in my area. I have an upcoming interview. During the interview should I disclose that I have been off from work due to a personal matter? I know legally I don’t need to disclose but I’m worried if they find out and think I was hiding it from them? If I had gone off on one years ago I wouldn’t worry about it. But in this situation I’m coming straight off of it. Thanks.
