So I completed my IGETC requirement upon transfering to Davis and assumed I only needed to complete my upper div credits and major requirements to get my diploma. I just got a message from ucdavis saying that I still need an upper division writing course and it went into effect Fall 2025. I scheduled an appointment with an advisor and I am currently looking into summer classes but I'm a little worried because I made no plans to stay in Davis for another quarter and my family is not from this area. I was not informed of this at any point when speaking to advisors either.
