I have a Resident account with HDFC.

The account is currently debit blocked because they couldn’t verify the address mentioned on my Aadhar card. They are asking me to visit the branch with my address proof.

I have been living in canada for 2 years now and have been actively using that account to pay off my education loan.

I am thinking of converting my existing account to an NRO account to avoid such address related troubles.

What happens to the money in my account if it is converted to an NRO account?

I also have PF in India which I was trying to withdraw before my account got locked.

If I do convert my account to NRO before withdrawing my PF will I ever be able to withdraw it back?
