Kitchen sink draining slowly now

I had a slow leak and a plumber came round and identified that the waste basket had corroded away. For some reason that had caused a slow leak somewhere.

He replaced the waste basket, washers, and the conical thing. Sealed with silicone.

The leak did indeed stop.

However, I've a new issue now, where the sink drains extremely slowly.

Given everything (bar the leak) was fine for the last 5 years (normal, fast drainage), is it safe to assume that it's the parts he used in the replacement (waste basket, conical thing, washers and/or silicone sealing)?

He remarked that the pipes set up are slightly anti gravity, but that has always been the case.

Hi everyone - exhausted first-time parents looking for advice/similar experiences with our newborn.

Our baby is 5w old and weighs ~5.3kg (quite big), bottle-fed (expressed breast milk), but we’re struggling with:

Frequent fussiness/crying, especially evenings
Stopping mid-feed crying/wriggling like trapped wind
Difficult burping and discomfort after feeds
Spit-up/reflux, sometimes large amounts
Constant seeming hunger/cluster feeding
Difficulty settling for naps → overtired easily
Very disrupted sleep, especially from ~4am onwards

He’s generally happiest during feeds themselves.

We’re currently using:

Infacol before feeds
Recently prescribed Infant Gaviscon (but now seems constipated since starting it 3 days ago)

We’re trying upright feeding/holding, paced feeding, winding etc.

We’re struggling to work out whether this is:

Reflux
Gas/trapped wind
Overtiredness/overstimulation
Colic
Overfeeding/comfort feeding
Or a combination

Would love to hear from anyone who experienced similar:

What was the actual cause?
What helped most?
Did it improve naturally with age?
