I am looking to upgrade my camera. I currently have a canon Rebel T2i and I am happy with it, I got it as a gift. It takes photos well but if you're even a second too slow, you will miss the shot. The quality isn't always the greatest, either. (These could be user error, to be honest).

I am looking to upgrade to a Canon R50 and want to know if it will produce better results or if I should keep my hobby camera as is.

Edit: I shoot photos of boats, landscapes, whales and occasionally people. Mostly during the day but I also want to shoot during the evening without that grainy look. Sorry for the lack of context.
