To, let’s say, “celebrate” my decision to go no-buy for the remainder of the year, I decided to ink my entire fountain pen collection. (Yes, I’m including the Roll-Ink.)

Realization 1: I didn’t know I currently own twenty-six* fountain pens.
Realization 2: I use some of these not nearly enough.

I’m normally someone who needs to keep his currently-inked to at most 5, but I felt like I needed to do this to show myself I have enough and I need to slow down before this hobby becomes a problem. I’m happy to have done it. Sure, I’m already fantasizing about my first pen of 2027, but I think inking all these up will help me with sticking to my decision. Also, this is a nice way to use up a lot of single-fill sample inks and cartridges I had lying around.

* Not pictured: another Waterman Expert currently kept at the office, a Pelikan M400 that’s un-inked (because it’s on Pen Swap, nudge nudge) and a Gravitas Piston Carbon, my last buy of 2026, that I hope to receive soon (hurry up, DHL!)

I’m selling a set containing a Pelikan Souverän M400 (14K fine), K400 ballpoint, and a D 400 mechanical pencil.

Details on the M400: green stripes, see-through barrel, F size bicolor 14K nib. The piston works, but probably could use some silicon grease, happy to do that for a prospective buyer.

All pens are in very good condition (B). I haven’t used them much, but the previous owner has, and has kept the pens in wonderful condition.

Asking €300 for the set plus actual shipping costs and possible import fees. This gets you the 3 pens, the Pelikan box, and a stroopwafel. If you need to talk price to make this work, I’m open to reasonable bids

Pelikan M605 Stresemann (Grey stripes, semi translucent barrel) with Fine nib + original packaging and pen pouch + papers

Condition/ownership history: B+. I am the second owner of the pen. Proof of purchase states February 2020. Very lightly used. Some micro scratches if you look really closely. The pen is really in an excellent condition. Please note there are some ink stains visible on the nib in the photos; this is “fresh” blue ink currently in the pen. The pen will of course be flushed/cleaned before shipping.

Nib: Fine, 14K Rhodium plated. Definitely writes like a Pelikan fine (writing samples are done using Diamine Oxford Blue).

Sale includes: Pen, Original packaging and papers incl. proof of purchase, original pen pouch, and a stroopwafel.

Asking Price: asking €350 including shipping from The Netherlands. I am open to worldwide shipping, but we’ll need to talk details in case of shipping to the US.
