[USA] Japanese bronze vase with high relief eagle/hawk - value?

Heavy bronze vase with high relief eagle/hawk motif and possible artist seal on underside. The style resembles Japanese Meiji bronzes, though I’m unsure of exact age or origin.

There are rectangular openings near the neck/interior. Could these indicate a later lamp conversion, or might another sculptural or decorative element originally have attached there?

Looking for opinions on age, authenticity/origin, and realistic value in current condition.

Large Japanese Meiji Bronze Vase with High-Relief Eagle - Seeking Valuation

I’m looking for an estimated value for this large Japanese bronze vase, likely from the Meiji period?
Key Details:
Design: Features a highly detailed, high-relief eagle/falcon on a flowering branch. The vase itself has a "garlic-mouth" lobed shape. Heavy.
Signature: There is a cast artist’s seal on the base, but I can’t make anything out.
Preliminary research suggests it could be from the studio of Takahashi Ryoun or Genryusai Seiya.
Condition: The casting of the bird is excellent. However, there’s a slot in the neck. I believe it is currently missing a secondary decorative element (like a dragon or vine) that would have originally slotted into these holes. That, or it was converted into a lamp at some point. Not sure which.
Any insights on the signature or current auction values for "incomplete" Meiji bronzes like this would be greatly appreciated! Owned for several years and ready to let it go. I am looking to sell it this week and need a ballpark..
