▲ 100 r/Compilers
Back in 1994, I submitted a compiler for my "Languages and Compilers" class. My teacher refused to evaluate it, saying "We can also read books" – implying I had just copied something from a textbook. The project was shelved for 30 years.
I've now put the code on GitHub. I honestly believe the approach is original (even by modern standards). I'm not asking for a grade – just a second opinion. If you know compilers, please take a look at pro2asm.pas. Is this something a textbook could have produced?
Thank you for any honest feedback.
