Would people in Gujarat actually use a product for local civic complaints, or would this fail in real life?
i’ve been working on an idea around civic complaints in Gujarat and wanted honest feedback before I take it further.
The problem I keep noticing is that everyday issues like bad roads, drainage, garbage, streetlights, water problems, etc. often don’t go anywhere in a structured way. People may post about them, message someone they know, or complain locally, but a lot of issues still end up scattered or ignored.
So I started building something around that general problem: a way to make civic complaints more structured, trackable, and easier to escalate.
Before I go deeper, I want blunt feedback from people here:
- Is this actually a real problem worth solving in Gujarat?
- If you had a civic issue in your area, would you use something like this?
- What would make you trust it?
- What is the most likely reason people would ignore it?
- Would this be genuinely useful, or would most people still prefer WhatsApp, local contacts, or social media?
Not promoting anything here, and I’m not sharing a link. I just want to know whether this sounds useful in real life or only sounds good in theory.
