First off, we are late 20s we were both virgins when we got married when we were 21 and 23. Never even had a relationship with anyone else but each other, never even kissed anyone else. We just had our first baby by c section a month ago and my wife had her second ever Pap smear and just got the results back.
I was driving home when she called me freaking out because it is high risk, saying I cheated on her or that I wasn’t honest about my past. I know for a fact neither of us have been with anyone else. She called the nurse at the OBGYN and they said high risk HPV can only be sexually transmitted. The nurse literally told my wife I was lying WTF.
Can this be a false positive??? Is there any other way HR hpv can be transmitted? I’ve hardly been able to process what this means for my wife’s health because I’ve been going through and emotional rollercoaster dealing with accusations and loosing my marriage over something I didn’t do.
