Possible accidental banding of rectal endometrial tissue???? F30
Hi,
I was diagnosed with endometrosis a few years ago after a laproscopy in which much endo tissue was destroyed. It was found on the rectal wall. I had an MRI to see if it had gone into the bowel but never heard back the results (probably need to chase them). In the meantime a few months ago I had hemorrhoid banding. I was in extreme pain following this. I could not stop screaming, couldnt move, was sick, couldn't think, anything, ended up in a and e on IV tramodol. Dr was adamant procedure went well, and wasnt above dentene line and couldn't understand my levels of pain. FYI I have had a child before, so childbirth pain was a 10, this was an 8/9, I literally couldn't stop screaming.
So my question is if my endometrosis had spread and got banded in that procedure, which may explain the extreme pain I felt, would the bands still drop off? Or could they remain and be causing issues? Obviously banded hemaroids drop off but would endometrial tissue. Currently trying for baby number 2 but no luck and hoping this wouldn't be related or affect my chances of conceiving, if there is endometrial tissue under stress elsewhere or something
