Hello! New to this sub. I’ve been a Chef for about 7ish years and have worked fine dining and also expensive Assisted living facilities after my trudge through training and up the line and such.

The last year or so I’ve been looking into traveling chef work; especially Alaska, Northern Canada and recently have some good offers for McMurdo Station in Antarctica.

I’ve been doing all my research that I can into these remote chef positions but at some point the testimonies just feel…flat.

Has anyone here ever worked such a remote job? Especially Antarctica? I’d love to hear some real deal advice or personal accounts or whatever. Thank you!
