Don't get me wrong guys, yes yall are right. Season 1 is better than season 2. However guys this isn't what really matters, I genuinely think that even though season 2 failed to bring the numbers it was supposed to,it was actually quite decent and they could've actually made a 3rd season with yall the cliffhangers and plot season 2 had. However I do gotta say that there were stuff that were rushed towards the end the the 2nd season like from episode 5+ the dialogues felt incomplete, specific episodes were supposed to be longer etc. I think these reasons or some of these is why some people don't rate it good enough.
But on my behalf it was decent enough considering they lost a very great actor who was heavily involved in the storyline and the fact that they had to do improv not a recast. Marie got her sister back and also brought her back from dying literally, Emma we also saw that she had some untapped power. These are the things that I concluded after watching the show. However the storyline is also intriguing itself. We got to see Edgar, Neumann's daughter, a-train and starlight. Polarity was finally healed and help them beat Thomas.
I don't really know how to explain this but it genuinely worked guys I promise 😭. Idk how exactly it made sense but it really did and seeing people the glad that season 3 is canceled is actually concerning. With so much potential 3 would've been better than 2 by far, idk what excites them after knowing marie is more powerful than homelander (yes I said it, she is more powerful 😤) but we never really get to see it. Comparing it with the boys obviously we see that it wasn't that good and everything felt rushed and cringe, but then again I only knew the boys after gen v which I guess for me says a lot but...idk guys. Season 3 has a lot of things that could've been there like the post-world after defeating homelander and stuff.
But guys season 2 wasn't as great but it genuinely worked for me, I even actually see myself re-watching the entire series again after some time when, maybe then will my feeling change idk but till then guys...season 2 doesn't deserve the hate it gets online. Thank you ✌️
