I (22F) developed hives for the first time (28 April morning) from canned sardines I think.
On 27th April I had a regular day and for lunch had rice, stir fry vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, and soy milk. For dinner at 6 pm I had sardines and those same foods. I've had canned sardines in springwater for 1-2 times a week this past 1.5 years and never had an issue, although this was a different brand.
I woke up at 4 AM the next day with rashes on my back and some regions of skin on my back being super raised (like the pore was extremely visible). That morning the red welts spread to my arms, neck, and lower body.
I was told by the pharmacist to take 2 x 180 mg Telfast per day for one week straight but they seem to change shape throughout the day (is this normal hives behavior?). It's extremely uncomfortable and was told that it should return back to normal after one week but given how it's changing shape and all:
Is that a likely timeline?
Should I just keep moisturising my skin normally (given its an internal issue) ?
Are hives supposed to migrate from region to region?
I'd really appreciate any advice, thank you so much. Am happy to send more pictures with dates and timestamps if needed.
