question for those whose languages are no longer spoken, have you noticed a trend of arguments + a general lack of understanding of your language’s revitalization process?

i ask this because in my community, we have so many disagreements + no one seems to understand and agree on more than a basic understanding of our language. it’s so sad to see, i was just wondering if other communities were the same way?
