I make custom inflation videos for sale — AMA

No advertising, just unusual job.

I’m an actress and content creator who specializes in custom inflation-themed videos using practical effects like balloons, padding, layered costumes, and body-expansion props.

Most of my work is made-to-order, so clients send in scenarios, character ideas, outfits, growth styles, or specific themes they want to see. Some prefer slow believable expansion, others want exaggerated cartoon-style growth with huge proportions and over-the-top acting.

Over the years I somehow became kind of a fatsuit expert after wearing three very different fatsuits as an actress in theatre productions and another one for a recurring live-action show.

What started as one strange costume experience slowly turned into learning a lot about performance costuming, body shaping, movement, heat management, stage realism, and how differently a character feels once you suddenly add a huge amount of extra volume and weight.

It’s honestly a really weird and fascinating part of theatre and live performance that people rarely talk about, even though fatsuits are used surprisingly often in comedy, stage productions, film, and live entertainment.

Its very exhausting and kind of humiliating for me so I think about suggesting a change while maintaining the "effect". Any ideas?

Working on a comedy/granny costume for theater and I’m struggling with the chest shape. We need me having an older ‘hanging boobs’ silhouette that looks believable under clothing and moves naturally on stage, any ideas?

Would also love general granny costume ideas or references for exaggerated but still convincing character design.

Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,

I’m working on a costume idea and could use some creative/technical input. The concept is kind of a visual gag: a “fake cleavage” setup where it looks normal at first, but then I (and someone else) keep pulling out increasingly ridiculous items, starting small (phone, keys, etc.) and escalating to stuff that definitely shouldn’t fit into a bra like tools or random objects.

I want it to land somewhere between “human handbag” and full-on cartoon logic.

Any ideas?
