Bought a tumbler from 1219 Avenue's website. ₹1,500. It leaked. Contacted support.

First sign something was off: the box arrived with Chinese manufacturer labels still on it. Not removed. They'd just slapped their own branding on top.

WhatsApp: ignored for 24 hours. Called them: told I'd only get a replacement if I had an unboxing video. For a ₹1,500 bottle. I'd already sent them a video of the bottle leaking through WhatsApp — didn't matter. They wanted an unboxing video or nothing.

I asked where this rule was written on the product page. It wasn't. They pointed me to a separate policy page. Not the product page. Not checkout. A policy page that nobody reads before buying a water bottle.

Then they agreed to send a replacement cap. Sent me a Google Form. Twelve minutes later: "We do not have separate caps for this product." She had sent me a form for something they didn't stock. When I asked what could be done — back to "no video, no return." The cap being out of stock had nothing to do with the video. That was just the only line she had.

Then came this gem, verbatim from WhatsApp (screenshot attached):

1219 Avenue, in writing:

"Sir, we don't know where it comes from — or where it doesn't. Wherever they come from, we will ask them for extra caps."

A brand. Selling a product. That does not know where that product is manufactured. Or where it isn't.

They then asked me to return my broken cap before they'd ship a new one — so I'd be left with nothing and just trust them. I said ship yours first. Not possible, apparently.

She called again. Screaming this time. Said: "Ek toh aapke paas video nahi hai, aur fir bhi main aisaan karke bhej rahi hoon, khush raho." I asked for a senior. She refused and cut the call. Called back immediately — she didn't pick up.

I have voice recordings of the calls. Happy to share with mods or anyone who wants to verify.

I messaged both founders on Instagram. No response.

They operate under multiple names: 1219 Avenue, The Case & Co, 925 Sterling Silver. All importing and rebranding. Don't buy from any of them.

[Attached: WhatsApp screenshots, leaking bottle video, product page with no mention of video policy]

TLDR: ₹1,500 tumbler from 1219 Avenue leaked. Sent them video proof via WhatsApp, they still demanded an unboxing video. Policy buried on a separate page. Agreed to replace the cap, sent me a form, then said cap not in stock, then retreated to "no video no return." Admitted in writing they don't know where their product is manufactured. Exec screamed at me and hung up. Voice recordings exist. Sister brands: The Case & Co, 925 Sterling Silver.
