Mafadat ki jang or Pakistan
Everyone is fed up with the politicians and in the words of Imran khan their handlers.
This is not about imran khan or any political person, but what I want to talk about is how having influence and power in Pakistan would convert you to a selfish and narcissistic person.
For context I am very interested in human behavior mainly because I want to catch myself in lies that i tell myself.
So i read a lot of stuff on psychology and so. By no mean what I say is lakeer on pathar but I would like to hear your opinion too.
Power fundamentally shifts your brain functions and how you operate. That’s why we see narcissistic tendencies in these people. When you know your actions don’t have consequences the end result is what Lumber 1 does in Pakistan.
They can lie to your face and as awan we keep thinking do they think we are stupid? Yes they do. Because a narcissist thinks they are supreme.
Most of these people especially in army at one point came from underprivileged social circle, take your Field Marshal sb as an example. That kind of background also fuels their ego when they reach this point.
You have to admire his political engineering though , how he played games to be in power and how he suppressed the popular party in Pakistan.
That aside but the real deal is, if you are going to be emotionally attached to any politician (including army personnel) in Pakistan or let it be elsewhere, you are wasting your energy. Why because how politics is played by default it included dirty games. And everyone has to play it.
People playing dirty games don’t think they are doing anything immoral because innately if you have a dissonance like this you can go in deep psychological depression or it can cause you alot of problems psychologically.
They can justify it by using terms like .”Wasee tar mafadaat” (of their own). End justifies the mean and sll you can imagine.
But that doesn’t mean you should just chill and let it be. You need to choose a lesser evil because all is evil at the end. You need to adjust the standards at least as of now so you can know yeah these are the problems but we still go with this person.
Trying to take a moral or religious high ground will bite you in the ass because everyone is personally to an extent corrupt by our current moral standards.
I wish we understand this so we can stop judging people by what they lack and start judging them by what they can bring to the table.
Long live Pakistan
