Should i upgrade my Van Rysel EDR AF Microshift Sword ?

Hello,

So currently my bike, the EDR AF with Microshift Sword, is getting a Tiagra R4700 (mechanical brakes) fitted to it free of charge thanks to some pretty strange circumstances which I'm not going to complain about! It also, before that groupset swap, annoyingly enough, was fitted with vitoria randonneur tires. I've been upset ever since but couldn't bring myself to spit out the cash to change the tires again.

But now i feel like this is the perfect time to elevate this bike. So I wanted to know whether it would be a good idea to dump around 600€ into upgrading it with a brand new set of carbon wheels and gravel tires, or just save up for a few months and buy a new carbon bike?

I'm still pretty new to the bike world, so I wanted the opinion of more experienced people when it comes to upgrading and modding a bike.

The wheels and tires I'm planning to get are the Elite Wheels SLR Gravel and the Specialized Pathfinder TLR (35mm). I mostly ride on the road but i want to turn this bike into a more gravel capable bike, which it isn't rn, in case i stubble upon the odd gravel/muddy road i didn't foresee on google maps.
