I can't quite convince myself that he's burying the stick in the head. He looks too relaxed for that, and the tone is open. (And how do you do that without hurting yourself?) But, the stick looks like it sticks to the batter head like a magnet.

Are his downstrokes finishing microscopically close to the head? Or, is he actually burying the stick?

There has to be a video somewhere where he talks about this. Does anyone know?
