Does my wedding dress code make sense?

I’ve had some friends say it’s perfectly clear, some say the mood board doesn’t match the copy, some say that it gives basically no info to go on. What do you guys think?

Copy is below and mood board is attached

CYPRIOT SUNSET
The ceremony is outdoors in a garden, and the reception is on a rooftop. Both move between direct sun and shade, and the rooftop cools down after sunset.
The dress code is resort formal: long dresses for women and suits for men, but align with whatever suits your gender expression best.

The theme is "Cypriot Sunset," a Mediterranean palette that contains coral, salmon, peach, blush, rust, gold, lime, chartreuse, sage, olive, lilac, cobalt, and turquoise- just keep it vibrant and fun.

Aim for bold and punchy colors, and avoid anything you'd wear to a work event.

For women: any length below the knee works. We love sequins, fringe, prints, ruffles, dramatic shoulders, color blocking, and big florals. Yes to big jewelry, bold cuffs, statement bags, and headpieces. Bring a light wrap or shawl if you run cold. The rooftop can cool off after sunset.

For men: wear a solid suit in one of the colors above and make sure it’s not black, gray, or navy. A cream or tan suit works, as long as the shirt is interesting: a print, a tropical pattern, or an open collar with a scarf at the neck. We love a good pocket square and a fun pair of socks. Lightweight fabrics like linen, cotton, or linen blends are best for April in the Riviera Maya. Heavy wool is going to be hot. For the same reason, feel free to skip the tie.

What to avoid: anything you'd find suitable for a work event or a networking dinner. For men, that means no black, charcoal, or grey suits. For women, anything you might describe as "simple but chic."

Also gents, please no flip flops or shorts. [Groom’s] parents didn't immigrate all the way here from Pakistan to see your hairy toes.
