Basically, I have a few questions and want to outline my current experience. I main a healer and started playing in 2025. I've worked hard to improve and take feedback very well. I love hearing how I can improve and implementing it. I started running keys for the first time during pre-patch and was able to heal up to 18s. My guild taught me everything I know. I enjoy them greatly and am incredibly grateful to them. I love getting on discord in VC while chatting and playing with them.

Of late, I've gotten a little frustrated. What I want to know is if I'm just being too hard on myself/the guild. (I'm still new, sometimes you have to put in work AND time. I know newbies can be too demanding)

• This season I was hoping to push M+ with my guild, they said they would have a process to create groups. Many mythic raiders created groups on their own though and only run with those people. I was consistently top or 2nd to top the first two weeks of M+ in the entire guild before falling off. I was able to maintain this just PUGing while others formed push groups. However I soon couldn't keep up with the push groups. In addition, the top people have started running keys and using voice chats outside of the guild discord to avoid being bothered. So a lot of people will be online but almost nobody in discord VC of late. It just makes the guild feel empty.
  • To add to this, we have a plethora of healers. 2/3 officers are healers and many switch between healing/dps. We actually have an issue not having enough DPS and Tanks a lot of the time.
• I did not tryout for the mythic raiding team, absolutely fair. They asked me to join the heroic team. I've PUG'd Mythic 3/9 so far and the guild is Mythic 4/9 currently.
• Currently the myth team has to rotate healers and I'm afraid that if I push to tryout, that will just create strife. I don't know if I should wait for a spot to potentially open next season or ask for a tryout next season. If everyone returns, that's just me creating strife which I dislike.

Essentially, I feel like I've worked hard to improve but am still definitely the newbie in the eyes of most. Should I stick with them because I like them and need to work more to earn a spot?

Is it normal for guilds to have a ton of healers and you really have to work for a spot?

Should I just leave an alt toon in the guild for social stuff and move my main to a guild?

I think a lot of this stems from working hard and currently am in the slot of healing for people to get vault and healing for the heroic team so the myth raiders don't have to, but not getting any support to try and push.

I'm super grateful and really like the people in my guild. I'd love to hear advice from more experienced people. I definitely don't want to be a guild hopper.
