Hi y’all! I have been diagnosed with SLE lupus since 2024 when my malar rash became super important. I really want to ask for advice from you all on how you got the rash to go away or worked towards remission. I’m currently on plaquenil 200mg and benlysta weekly injections. I was formerly on saphnelo infusions. I also take spironolactone 50mg (pcos) and Prozac 20mg. I take emaglity for migraines.
I feel like my rash has never gone down fully since 2024. Does anyone else experience it like this permanently? Does this mean I’m in a constant flare? I visit my Rheumatologist every month and my inflammation markers have been stable for an over a year but I still get fatigue, joint pain, and migraines from the sun.
Any advice on how you manage your rash is helpful! Also let me know what yours looks like. I currently use cerve for face wash, medicube for serum, Curiel moisturizer, and blue lizard sunscreen.
