Trip to kedarnath and Badrinath

Hi everyone,

I’m planning a trip to Kedarnath and Badrinath with a group of 6 people (including me), and we’re looking at traveling between 30th May and 14th July. It’s a pretty important trip for us, and we want to make sure we plan it properly—especially since we’ll be covering both destinations and managing a group.

I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance from people who’ve already done this journey, especially trekkers or frequent visitors to the region.

A few things we’d love help with:

\\- Best route and travel sequence for Kedarnath → Badrinath (or vice versa)

\\- Ground-level tips for the Kedarnath trek (pace, stay options, prep, etc.)

\\- Transport options (reliable buses, shared cabs, helicopter insights if worth it)

\\- Accommodation recommendations along the route

\\- Weather conditions during this period and what to realistically expect

\\- Things people usually overlook but shouldn’t

We’re not first-time travelers, but this terrain is new to us, so any practical, experience-based advice would be extremely helpful.
