Financial advisor worth it?
I have about $38,000 in mixed debt. Two credit cards, a personal loan, and a car note. Not in crisis but not making progress either.
Someone suggested I talk to a financial advisor but I am skeptical. Feels like they are going to tell me to spend less and pay more, which I already know.
Is there a scenario where paying for advice is genuinely worth it at my level or is it mostly useful for people with investments and complex tax situations?
