I'm trying to find the name of a TV show I saw when I was younger. I thought it was an episode of The Bill but I've gone through the episode guides and it's definitely not that.
The episode I'm thinking of was a clear rip off of The Usual Suspects film so it definitely came out after that.
The main bad guy was posing as a local dealer but was in fact from a rich family. He pretended to have worked for a Keyser Soze like character named 'Socrates' who had all the mystique of Soze.
He explains at one point he met Socrates in Spain(?) but didn't know who he was at the time (a bar matchbook is also mentioned). In the end, the police put the story together and when they go to arrest the guy he escapes in a helicopter.
