MAT235 vs MAT237 for actuarial science major/specialist

Hey, a bit early since summer just started, but I was wondering about whether I should do MAT235 vs. 237 for the actsci major or spec, given recent requirement updates

237 is a requirement for STA257 and STA261, which are "strongly recommended" by the artsci calendar, but I do sorta doubt the actual importance of that recommendation and wanted to hear from people who've gone through it all

To note, I did kinda poorly in 137 (67), so I'm scared I'll do terribly if I do 237. Besides, STA238 is now eligible for SOA VEE credit, so perhaps it's simply the better choice? Actuarial science isn't a proof-based subject, but the weight of the high recommendation on the calendar is making me doubt myself a lot

Any help would be appreciated, especially from those who have gone through upper year ACT courses - did you guys find the formal courses useful?

Anyone else unable to receive their OSAP because they're still awaiting enrolment confirmation from UofT?

Getting stressed out atp, I deferred my minimum payment to register but OSAP keeps having to push the estimated release date back because UofT is taking forever to confirm enrolment. It's been a month. Anything I can do to get them to hurry tf up?
