Hello everyone,

I recently bought a Panasonic DMP-BD90P-K Blu-ray player, but I am having an issue with the noise it makes. It is a really loud, high-pitched spinning sound (Its probably a bit louder than the video i took). It happens not only when it is starting a disc, but also continuously throughout the entire movie.

During loud action scenes the noise is just barely tolerable because it gets drowned out a bit, but as soon as the movie gets slightly quieter, it honestly drives me up the wall.

I was wondering if this kind of constant, loud spinning is normal for such a budget player and I just have to live with it, or do you think my unit is faulty and has mechanical problems?
