Anyone else on h-1b feel your compensation/ promotion or both have been silently slowed down?

I’m easily the strongest consultant in my practice but I’m always stream-rolled over by the older gen who got their residency/ USC sorted.

We are in a rock and hard place - overworked and forced to quit!

Nobody else hiring Indian h-1bs either.

NGL, I’m comfortable living off the same compensation for the foreseeable future but I’m just seeking feedback on how to cope with this- mentally! I’m just not used to hard work not paying off!

There’s a family emergency and I must travel as there’s nobody else. My employer can grant me 3-4 months of leave and my situation at the workplace is sorted. But I’m from India and we know the visa situation. My husband talked to a travel agent who booked his appointment.
Apparently h-1b can still be found but there are ways to get a date for a cash payment for around 1 lakh directly to the agent. Money is not the issue but is it worth risking getting cancelled or anything else?

What are my options, I really have to go for my family member. Please help 🙏🏾😢
