hello, if you’ve seen me mention this, sorry I’m still so conflicted about it.

Im taking a dual enrollment course for health and because of unavailability and sickness, I’ve bombed my grade and can no longer get above a D.

Should I drop the class and get a W on my transcript or a D? I spoke to my counselor about it and they said they would accept the D and move on, but I was hoping to apply to top schools like Emory, Northwestern, JHU…

I don’t know if I can get in with a random D much less if I can get into one of the ivies I wanted to attend.

I have very little time to decide, please tell me which you think is better.

my grades dropped from a 3.86 (?) to a 3.74 and although ive done so much I’m pretty sure it might be dropping again after this semester.

my senior year schedule is not as tough and i will hopefully increase my gpa a bit for RD apps.

there are circumstances to explain this as I went through a lot this year but I’m saddd i really love Harvard and Brown but idk what do you think
