Historic-ish game suggestions

It's the first time in ages I have some time to play a game. I'm looking for a new one. I mostly like turn based games with historic settings, or more realistic fantasy and science fi.

Games I've played and loved for ages:

Battle Brothers

Ultimate General: Civil War

Total War. Shogun 2, Empire, Rome 2 and Attila. I never really got into the Warhammer ones. I enjoyed Thrones of Brittania so that probably tells you a lot

Civ 6

Xcom 1 and 2

Some games I'm interested in and interested in your opinion of:

Every single paradox game. I've played HOI4 for probably several hundred hours but still don't really get it. (I never got any dlcs) I'm wondering if crusader kings might be a little more rewarding for me.

Total War Pharaoh Dynasties

Warno although I'm bad at RTS and mainly interested in campaign/single player.

Also wargames like War in the East 2.

Burden of Command

Starsector

Although a lot of my games are combat oriented, I like RP stuff and city building.

Thank you so much in advance
