We just bought a house that ultimately I can’t get over the interstate noise nearby. We bought it at a lower price and our realtor confidently thinks that we will be able to break even if not make a little. I’m not necessarily worried about the capital gains tax etc. My question is has anyone done this? I’m worried the quick turnaround will be a red flag but I know she’s had realtors reach out to her asking about the house even after close. It’s a booming area and seems to be in high demand because the lot size and no HOA. The house is beautiful! I’m just hesitant to list it now and not have any buyers and then trying to list it again next summer will look even worse.
Our realtor did say she would lower her commission either way to lessen the hit.
