I followed the trail through the green hills of Barangay Imugan until the sound of rushing water drowned out everything else. This is Imugan Falls in Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya; a 35 foot cascade spilling into a cool natural basin. The hike may be short, but it feels like stepping into the wild: forest shade, slick stones, roaring water, and a hidden pool waiting at the end of the trail.

Nature doesn’t rush, yet somehow it creates masterpieces like Lago di Braies, Dolomites, Italy.
