Hi there!

Could use help on how to rehab these old concrete steps. They had a crappy outdoor fabric glued to them which I removed, however getting the glue off has proved to be very difficult. I have tried chipping it off and also grinding, but grinding was causing it to melt and turn gummy. Curious if there is some way to remove the glue that I haven’t considered yet? I would like to put tile or something on top but think I need to get the glue off first.
