I want my appetite back

Experience a bad Gerd for two weeks where it's made me lose my appetite! I had two pieces of chicken for lunch and now my stomach is just feeling like something is in the way.

Doctors gave me omneprazole yesterday, how long does it take for me to feel comfortable eating properly again?
