We are streaming the Artemis Mission to the Moon at Griffith Observatory
Hey everyone! Your friendly local astronomer here. This is not an official event but I wanted to let you know that we are showing the Artemis stream at Griffith Observatory right now (Sunday 5th of April). We have gotten so many calls about it and it’s wonderful to see so much excitement about our return to the Moon. You can find the stream with captions in our lowest level, the Gunther Depths of Space.
Important note that Monday is our closure day, we will not be open to the public but you can get the same live stream online from NASA here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3kR2KK8TEs The astronauts will be circling the Moon then.
We will be talking about it on this month’s All Space Considered with our rocket specialist. The show is free and takes place on Thursday 16th at 7pm in the Leonard Nimoy Event Horizon Theater. I may bring in some old press and official documents about the Apollo missions that I own from the 60s and 70s.
Moon Joy!
