8w Appointment Feeling Confused
So basically I did the ultra sound, she showed us the baby and then said the baby is small so she can’t get all the images she needs. Then she says let me see if the nurse is here or if she went on her lunch break. So we wait for a random nurse to come in and say the baby is small and it either means I ovulated late and it’s too early or I’m going to have a miscarriage. I never get to see a doctor, they don’t even take my vitals or do bloodwork. Then I get my results uploaded to my portal and a random on call doctor interprets it and says the growth of the baby is normal, just a slow heartbeat on the chart. Meanwhile no one at the clinic said a thing about heartbeat. I’m waiting for my real doctor to write notes on the lab result but other than that I have nothing to go on. It was a really horrible experience because the baby actually is growing well and they gave us no information on anything. It’s been really awful. What are your thoughts on this? I have a follow up appointment in 11 days to see if the heartbeat is stronger.
