Good day guys,
I am a new skier who has just completed my 1st season, I could ski down double black slopes safely with parallels and some “starter's carving” (if I'm not doing some sketchy stuff), but my ski boots were too narrow. Yesterday I went to a ski boot fitting place and the guy told me my ski boots are not the right size. He measured my feet and my feet length was at 25.5, he gave me a pair of 26.5 with High Volume and it fits fine. The one I bought before was 28.5 MV because one of the bones on the side is sticking out quiet a bit. The guy in the store told me I need the widest boots. So I'm looking at a few options, Salomon S/Pro HV,Atomic Hawx Magna. The boots I had was Tecnica Mach with 90 stiffness. Should I jump to higher stiffness like 120-130 or should I stick to 90/100 for one (or a few) more season? I'm trying to get a pair of boots that I could use for at least 2-3 seasons (considering about advancing my skills and doing simple parks). Any advices would be appreciated.
