I am a board member for the HOA in the subdivision that I live in. Our community has approximately 1200 feet of Frontage Rd., Landscaping that go wiped out. from fallen after hurricane Helene two years ago. We are now at a point where the communities around us have already finished cleaning their properties up and we are last on the road. Our community members are anxious to get our property back to appealing state and even willing to consider a one time assessment for this. Now the board and I have the responsibility of coming up with a practical design that is both appealing low maintenance and cost-effective. We are tossing around different ideas, but I keep coming back to a picket fence with fresh sod between the fence and the street and maybe a tree every 50 feet for low maintenance needs. I am curious to see what this community on Reddit can come up with for inspiration for our project.
