Lost my cat suddenly. I just want to know if she is okay
This is my beautiful Suki girl. She was 9 years old, I sadly had to put her down on Wednesday 5/6. I came home from work to her having a possible stroke. I drove the 30 minutes to the vet & 5 minutes away she wasn’t getting enough oxygen, triage was called etc. they ran a bunch of tests. They found the results showed she had a degenerative Spinal Disease, Hyperthyroidism, and possibly heart problems, and possible chance it could’ve been tumor. It wasn’t ever said for certain. They told me she would no longer be able to basically be a cat. She would struggle to use the liter box, eat, drink normally etc. all due to the fact she wasn’t stable on her feet & she wouldn’t move as she would need to. We in turn all agreed we would be making the decision to have her put down. I was devastated completely utterly devastated. I just want to know if she knows how much I love her. I held her the whole time until her heart stopped & I held her for so long after. She was the best cat I’ve ever had. She was my precious baby girl & I was blessed to have had 8 wonderful, life changing years with her. For context.. I got her when she was 1 1/2 years old. I just wanna know if she is okay. Is she upset with me for the way she had to leave me and young as well. I just want a sign from her anything that can tell me she is okay, if she found out previous cats who passed in summer ‘24 & Summer of ‘25. I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and to tell me if she wants me to know anything. I love her so much, I always will. I’m so heartbroken.
