hi! I am 21, in USA, and taking the kittens to the vet in a few days to be checked out.

I am not new to cats, and had more fosters than I can count. I have five resident cats, and two long term visitors (my friend’s two cats staying with me while she’s out of town). But I recently found a litter of four kittens abandoned so i have also taken them in.

They are approx 4 weeks old, and there is one boy and three girls. They have some eye infection we are treating but otherwise eating and going potty good!

But one of the girls… i just don’t know if she has smth wrong with her or if she’s just not too bright 😭😭

she’s always falling asleep with her head back and mouth open like the pictures i attached. Like even when she’s just chilling she’s just got her mouth open, but she seems to be breathing completely normal. Is this just a quirk or could this bean indicator that she’s got something wrong?

bonus photos of the kitties!
