Hi everyone, I had a spiral fracture of my tibia which then broke my fibula earlier this month. Two weeks ago I had four screws, a small plate, and a titanium rod put in my leg. Has anyone had something similar and not had a cast? Doctor says they’re just going to keep it wrapped. I assume maybe the hardware is doing the job of a cast? I broke my pelvis 5 years ago and thought that hurt, my God this pain is 10x worse. I pity you and cannot imagine the pain people feel from a broken femur lol ouch.
