I have my grandpas old camcorder that I want to use. How can I check if it still works? How can I fix it? The battery is probably dead and I don’t have any other cables or equipment.

I want to use it for a school project.

My local camera guy is very overpriced and I want to see if I can fix it at home.

Help would be much appreciated!
